Metashape is a proprietary software solution. The software and documentation are provided electronically. You will receive a registration code via e-mail after your order is processed. This registration code allows you to convert a demo version of Metashape to a registered version with full functionality.

To support education in the field of photogrammetry, Agisoft offers educational licenses to educational institutions. Please remember that the Metashape license does not allow you to provide access to the software to third parties, in particular, via the Internet, including, without limitation, in connection with a web hosting, commercial time sharing, service bureau, or similar service.

Node-Locked License

The Node-Locked license (formerly called the Stand-Alone license) is a node-lockable rehostable license, that is, a license allows the program to be activated on one machine, however, the license can be transferred to a different computer if necessary. The Node-Locked license allows the Metashape software to be used in all types of paid and unpaid projects. The license is available to both individuals and legal entities, such as companies, firms, museums, research institutes, government institutions, etc.

Floating license

Floating licensing allows you to install the program on as many computers as you wish and to run it, at any time, on as many systems as the number of licenses purchased indicates. A data processing machine must be designated as a “license server”; the license server utility installed on it will manage the distribution of licenses on the network of computers where the program has been installed. Floating licensing is available only for Agisoft Metashape Professional Edition.
